Last week we had an intensive in person board meeting and team building here in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Communication is the most critical part of any team, especially an early stage tech project working remotely.

Expect some improvements in our team communication, coordination, and collaboration in the near future from that investment of time and energy!

On the development side, the majority of bugs identified in the “alpha ship” phase of Hamza decom marketplace has been sorted out, and this coming week will be scrambling to add more features to meet the deadline of beta launch end of this month / early October.

On the marketing side, we onboarded an agency specializing in email marketing and will have calls and outline the content schedule ready to build up leading to the launch of the beta.

In addition to the email marketing, we will sync up the content schedule from the emails to match the socials and blogs so that Hamza can be aligned in its public messaging and build up.

We are very excited and have been calling this phase the “calm before the storm”. We will be fully on the “Hamza river” into October and are bracing ourselves.
