The first full week of 2025 is here, and we’ve spent the holidays planning and re-aligning for the year ahead.
This week marks a major push for our big deployment. Last Thursday and Friday, we rolled out the initial version to production, onboarding sellers and making significant progress. By mid-week, we aim to finalize the remaining details.
Top 3 Updates
- Admin Panel for Sellers
Sellers now have an admin panel to view their products, manage orders, and fulfill them directly. Previously, this was a manual process requiring the development team to provide order information to merchants. - Smart Contract for Escrow
Orders will now use a smart contract escrow system, where funds are held until both the buyer and seller release the escrow. This feature, which has been audited and tested, adds further decentralization to Hamza Market’s order processing. - Gift Card/Digital Product Support
We’ve onboarded a new vendor offering digital gift cards. This required adjustments to the order flow, as no physical delivery is needed. This enhancement sets the stage for supporting more digital goods—something the community has been requesting.

These new features mean exciting updates for the wider Hamza community. While we’ve built awareness through initial marketing campaigns, these releases open new opportunities:

We view 2024 as the year we built and gathered feedback. Now, in 2025, we’re ready to scale up and reach the wider community with a solid technical foundation and market insights.
